At EDO 1834 we hold a simple standard: the material of the glass, a clear cut, and a form that lasts in the hand. We believe a well-made glass should belong in daily life, which is why we stay with pieces made to be used and kept.
Our glassware is made for the pour. A whiskey glass for a short drink, a highball for whisky and soda or water, a sake cup for a small measure, a carafe for something shared. Each piece is cut with the rim, the weight, and the use in mind, whether you drink with care every night or only when the table is full.
The same objects live beyond the drink itself. A glass can sit at dinner, rest beside a chair, or hold evening light in a quiet room. We choose pieces that keep their place in a home: clear enough for water, present enough for whisky, and calm enough to live with.
