Care, here, means washing, drying, and storing cut glass so the facets stay readable. These notes are house practice. Where a product page has a specific care line, that line takes priority.
How to do it
- Wash by hand with a soft sponge and mild detergent.
- Support the bowl. Do not wrench the rim against the sink.
- Rinse in water that is warm, not sudden.
- Dry with a soft cloth so water does not sit in the cut.
- Store upright with space between pieces.
What to avoid
- Abrasive pads and harsh cleaners on cut surfaces.
- Sudden heat or cold, including a move from freezer to warm water.
- Stacking glasses rim to rim.
