Quiet answers for orders, shipping, returns, and the glass itself. For anything not covered here, write to hello@edo1834.com.
How fast do we reply?
We aim to answer every customer email within 1 business day (Europe/Paris business days). Complex order or damage cases may take a little longer while we check tracking or photos.
How do I contact you?
Email hello@edo1834.com. Include your order number when you have one. We do not take phone orders.
Is shipping free?
Customer shipping is $0 at checkout. Shipping cost is already included in the product price. Delivery timing and any destination tax or duty treatment for your market appear at checkout for the address you enter. We do not publish a single global transit promise, because that figure would be a guess.
Where is my order?
When your order ships, you receive tracking by email. If tracking has not updated for several days, or the package looks stuck, write to hello@edo1834.com with your order number and we will check it.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window for unused items in original packaging. Start the return by emailing hello@edo1834.com with your order number before you ship anything back. Items sent without that confirmation may not be accepted.
EU customers also have a 14-day statutory right. Our 30-day promise covers unused items in original packaging for all orders, so the EU right sits inside that window.

What if a piece arrives damaged?
Write to hello@edo1834.com with your order number and clear photographs of the packaging and the glass. We will arrange a resolution for that order.
Can I cancel or change an order?
If the order has not yet shipped, email us as soon as you can with the order number and what you need changed. Once it is with the carrier, we cannot redirect it reliably. In that case we will help through the return path after delivery when the item still qualifies.
Single, Set of 2, or Set of 4?
Many glasses are offered as a Single, Set of 2, or Set of 4 on the product page. Choose the pack before you add to cart. Availability of Sets depends on stock; if a Set option is closed, the Single remains the available path.
How do I choose a glass?
Start with how you drink: short rocks forms for ice and daily whisky, sake forms for pour and sip, and color after form. Clear shows the liquid. Cobalt, pine, smoke, and ruby change the field around it.
Full path: How to choose. For occasions: Gifts & occasions. Longer notes live in the Journal.
What are these glasses made of?
EDO 1834 glasses are Edo Kiriko: handmade, hand-cut crystal from Tokyo, made in Japan, with the craft's heritage behind the cut. Exact capacity and care notes live on each product page. We do not invent artisan names, lead-free status, dishwasher suitability, or edition limits unless that listing says so.
Is this real Edo Kiriko?
Yes. Our drinkware is Edo Kiriko cut crystal, handmade and hand-cut in Japan (Tokyo origin), carrying that heritage into glasses for the modern table. See the product page for the cut, color, and packing for each piece.
Care
Follow the care note on the product page when one is listed. As a baseline for cut crystal: hand wash gently, avoid thermal shock, and do not stack pieces hard against each other. If dishwasher suitability is not stated for that SKU, treat it as unknown and hand wash.
Gifts
Many pieces ship in a wooden presentation box unless the product page says otherwise. For occasion ideas, start on Gifts & occasions.
